The rumors suggest that there aren’t new Call of Duty games next year and Activision support the WWII for an additional year. Moreover, these would include the more classic maps of Infinity War, or Terrorist & Sledgehammer’s catalogue. This is part of Activision’s work to celebrate two hundred years of American War in 2023 and a third anniversary of United Nations war war.Ī TIME RECORDS In an effort to celebrate an anniversary of the 20th anniversary of Call Of Duty, a “very good” hit map has been developed. Designed by TheGhostofHope and supported by Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson, Activision and Infinity Ward are planning to release a free, and popular, greatest hits’ map pack, which will feature maps from the original Call of Duty and Modern Warfare 2, and a map from Treyarch and Sledgehammer titles such as the Black Ops franchise. Nonetheless, there is a new rumor that suggests we could buy at least one new paid package with Call of Duty II. When Duty: Modern Warfare was released in 2019, Activision decided to embrace the battle pass model used by Fortnite to allow for free maps while still providing a popular monetization form. It wasn’t ideal for some games, as it was for the 4dLC packs, meaning you’d spend $60 just so you could play with everyone. However, those who did not know the maps wouldn’t be able to play with those who had them, creating a segregated player base. As time went on, this would include more weapons, a zombie map, or a new Spec Ops level. For years, Call of Duty charged up to $15 for new multiplayer maps. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will reportedly buy classic maps from the series as paid DLC.
